Wayback Burgers - Mastic Beach

The restaurant was disappointing, and now it's closed. It serves as a reminder that poor quality can lead to failure. I'm excited for the new BBQ place that's opening in its place!

I actually downloaded this just to leave a review about this restaurant. A coworker and I arrived around 11:45 for a quick bite to eat. As soon as we walked in, we sensed something was off—there was only one staff member present, and he sneered at us while taking our order. While waiting for our food, we couldn’t help but comment on the awful smell in the place, which seemed to get worse the longer we stayed. Eventually, it became so unbearable that we walked out without even asking for a refund. Overall, the place is filthy, the staff member was extremely unfriendly, and it’s clear that cleanliness is not a priority. I would highly advise against going here!

I just got home after ordering food for three people, and I have to say, it was a terrible experience. Not only was our order incorrect, but the food itself was awful. I ended up throwing my burger away. The fries I ordered came with undercooked onion rings. My wife's Philly cheese steak was dried out and lacked any flavor. For over fifty dollars, I would have preferred food from a food truck or McDonald's. If I could give zero stars, I would— it was that disappointing. It wasn't even worth the trouble of going back to complain. The only positive was that the food stayed hot during the ten-minute ride home.

Don't usually leave reviews for a door dash delivery but...my daughter suggested Wayback for dinner. Gave 1 star because we have had in past and was ok. Tonight's order was terrible. Over a hour for delivery. The 3 burgers were sloppy, meat under cooked, lettuce was obviously not fresh. Only 1 of 3 orders of fries were delivered, and that one was undercooked. Also ordered onion rings. Got 2 individual onion rings in our fries. Don't think order was even dbl checked. Past orders and food have been o.k. figured on night before storm to just enjoy a burger and fries from a local place...we figured wrong..oh well...other places to go or try we won't be ordering again.

Ordered and paid online. Went to pick it up at 8:20. The doors were locked. They close at 9. ??????
