Restaurant L'Invitation - Masevaux

This lovely restaurant was recommended to us by the local campsite owner (and incidentally by the local Tourist Information Centre); we visited it for our wedding anniversary and were really glad we did. The welcome was charming and we were sat outside on the terrace with our dog. The food was really special, cooked by the genial chef/proprietor; seasonal and local, and there was a good local wine list at reasonable prices. There was a really lovely atmosphere in the restaurant/ terrace.

One of the hallmarks of the French cuisine is the reliance on local produce and tradition, and the way the menu is influenced by seasonal change. This little family driven restaurant, in walking distance from the centre of the village of Masevaux offers all this in a very relaxed atmosphere. The quality of the food more than justified the slightly higher price and the service was cordial and helpful, despite our lacking French.

Wonderful Family owned since 1954 great food! Friendly service with a smile always. Lots to eat also.

Restaurant excellent d'un point de vue de l'accueil et de la cuisine.Pour la cuisine, produits frais uniquement de grandes qualité mis en avant via le dressage ,par un grand chef, les assiettes sont juste magnifique. Quand à la salle, très bien décoré, sobrement, classe, avec Sylvie la gérante qui ne manque pas d'humour pour mettre à l'aise ces clients, avec un service irréprochable, de même pour Grégory qui est très professionnel malgré son jeune âge et qui assure un service de qualité. Merci pour tout !

Nous y sommes allés plusieurs fois et à chaque fois le repas était super bon. Le service est top également. Rien a dire, super.
