This is a typical French cafe situated across from the imposing modern art museum of Centre Georges Pompidou.

The shop is only open early for the public. They offer sandwiches, meat pies, sausage rolls, flavored milk, soft drinks, and more. If you order a curry pie and ask for it to be hot and spicy, it really is. Not many places are open early in the morning, so this is a great option.

This restaurant is excellent. The pies are baked on-site and have fantastic flavor. They offer classic options like chicken and mushroom, and steak and kidney, which are both delicious and authentic. The pastry has a great flavor and texture, surpassing any pies I've had in Britain.

The pepper steak pies at this restaurant are amazing and are considered the best on the Fraser Coast. I also enjoy the steak and mushroom pie. The prices are reasonable as well.
