Fairview Inn - Marshfield

Ate at the restaurant. Ordered the tomato basil soup and greek salad. Both were DELICIOUS! Service is great!

Service and overall management has taken a major step back. Reported A/C, thermostat not working. Voicemail full, texted and got a auto message saying someone will respond nothing. Had to sleep with slider open and uncomfortable for 2 days.. No iceavailable. Went to restaurant for lunch 2 signature sandwiches not available only chicken. Ordered expresso coffees andbartender said im not going anywhere near that machine . We waited a bit and left. For $250 night we expected more. Have stayedbefore but not again. Excellent atmosphere, service and food of the highest quality! Can't wait to go back in the future!

I popped in on a whim at an off time of day. Service was good, considering the very large party they were hosting inside, and the food was very good. It helped that the day was beautiful, so I was able to make use of the deck and just enjoy the sun andthe view.

The Fairview faces direct ocean front, so really who cares about anything else. But the food was good. Scallops were fresh and prepared well. They wouldn't let us eat on the terrace even though there were four empty tables which were still empty as wewere leaving. It was quite noisy in the dining room. I would suggest sound proofing the ceiling.
