フィードバックを提供するI visited for lunch and placed my order right away, as the restaurant wasn’t busy. It was easy to find a seat. However, after about 5-10 minutes, my water glass was empty, and I hadn't seen my waitress. To make matters worse, the staff stopped to take a photo during lunchtime! After 30 minutes of waiting, still with an empty glass and no food, I realized that if you only have a 30-minute lunch break, you might be in trouble. I had to request my meal to go. They mentioned that my order was pre-made, so there really wasn't an excuse for the delay. When I finally received my food, the breakfast burrito was quite small; it tasted good but wasn't enough to compensate for the poor service and long wait. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
We arrived at 'The Daily Grind' just before the lunch crowd, and although the place is small, it has a cozy atmosphere that was perfect for my friend and me. As soon as we walked in, we were captivated by the delightful aroma of freshly baked muffins, which lured us to the counter. There, we spotted a tray of poppy seed muffins—my absolute favorite! I couldn’t resist and ordered one right away, while my friend chose a blueberry muffin. Pairing it with a good cup of brewed coffee made it even better. Butter was included, too! The service was friendly, and we definitely plan to return!
The coffee is outstanding! We stopped in for a small bite to eat as well today. I ordered the cranberry chicken salad. So delicious! The staff are very friendly and welcoming.... and watching the cars drive by on Main Street while sipping coffee is heavenly.
The best muffins in town come out of their kitchen. It is pleasant to sit and visit with a friend or two in their dining area. On a hot day try their dreamsickle frozen drink.
Good, but still prefer B B. Just depends on what you're into. B B is more quaint and personal. Daily Grind is more of a standard college town coffee house. Nothing wrong with it, just not for me.
