Sandhill - Marshall

So, I DJ professionally with my company the Time Traveling DJs and I had an opportunity to DJ the Jackie and Larry 60th wedding Anniversary at the Sandhill. Waitresses were eager to assist and the steak fries and pizza were legendary. I had never been to Marshall OR the Sandhill before but I plan to return! Everything was great.

I ordered “special” bbq and bacon grilled chicken sandwich (add red onion and jalapeños for extra flavor) with cheese and pepper cheese balls. Delicious! Also the .50 wings were not only tasty but a great deal. We’ve been customers of Sandhill since 2014 (Moonraker days), we’ve always had a good experience but I’d have to say our last 2 visits within the last couple weeks have been our absolute best. Even when service had gotten busy the friendly service far exceeds anything else. The new owner also does a great job touching base with his customers. Praying for success over this much appreciated business. Thank you and shout outs to the chef!

Terrible atmosphere and cheap bar food. The service is slow and forget about drink refills. The building is old the seating is tattered and broken and the place smells musty

We were really just there for karaoke. Food was what would be expected at a karaoke bar. Server was in his second day. Did well, repeated everything back, which was good as he had made a couple of errors. He will get better amd checked back several times.

While food used to be excellent, Sandhill has gone downhill. Steak was tough and much smaller portions...price too high. Some staff are very rude. Too bad, we have been frequent customers for over 10 years...don't intend on coming back.
