Dark Horse Commons - Marshall

We love this Michigan brewery! The food, beer, and service are consistently excellent. The mugs are also a unique touch. My top choice is the Raspberry IPA without a doubt!

I am unable to provide a rating for this restaurant. We had intended to visit, but the staff did not allow us to enter. We have no intention of attempting to visit again.

I'd give these guys zero stars if I could. We had a group reservation for a wedding party. We called the day before to confirm, and again the day of the event. We were scheduled to arrive at 9:00. When we showed up, the bus boy was taking out the trash and told us they had closed at 8:00. The manager would not come outside to talk to us. They never called us to let us know they were closing. I have never seen such poor customer service. Actually, since they wouldn't talk to us, we saw NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!

Fantastic food beer! Social distancing done well. And you have to love the personal mugs covering ceiling walls

Dark Horse Commons is a cool little coffee shop in Marshall. Whenever I'm in Marshall, I usually stop here for a pastry or a cup of coffee. I will usually come here with my grandma because it's close to her house and she likes the atmosphere. Overall I have no complaints other than the fact that it is located in Michigan and I hate the winter.
