Hakka Wok - Markham

I ordered my food at the front counter. The server was abrupt and rude. She served my friends but when I asked for a glass of water, she said she was busy. Goodbye Hakka, you may have lost some potential customers at City Markham due to your employees' behavior. Bad service can lead to negative word of mouth.

We have tried many Chinese restaurants in the area, and Hakka Wok stands out. We ordered delivery and were impressed with the value, portion sizes, and flavors. All the dishes were fresh and well-prepared. I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for Chinese cuisine in Markham.

This Hakka Chinese takeout restaurant is excellent. The prices are fair and the food is delicious. It feels like a cozy family-run establishment. I recently dined there and thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

This place is usually fast, friendly and very expensive. Stay away from Indian elements on the menu... why should you order Indians in a Chinese place? The chicken wings are crispy and tasty as well as many other dishes. The food tastes fresh and the restaurant is clean. I recommend that the order as a seat is very limited. Also, with a place that is so busy, I would not be surprised if there is a little waiting for dunes in service. I'm not sure where the bad reviews of this place come from... I'm here dozens of times and the food is great every time. However, call your order in time! I've always just ordered the dinner from this facility.

I want to share a BAD dine-in experience I had at hakka wok resturant located at markham road and Edward Jeffrey. We ordered there lunch special my husband ordered chilli beef and I ordered schezwan fish. It was served to us in less than 5...mins. It was too salty so we complained to the waitress and she took the food. She looked so pissed with us as if we did some mistake by complaining about the food. After few mins she got us new plates and while I was eating my fish I was disgusted to see WORMS in my food. When I called the waitress again to show her the WORMS she got so rude and said worm must be from the vegetables and simply took our food and started entertaining other customer. Nobody apologized or bothered to come to our table again. We immediately left. Please avoid going to this place. Thanks.
