The Bell Inn - Market Harborough

We had a delightful dining experience that felt like a lovely surprise! We enjoyed a three-course meal that was simply beautiful. The starter was a prawn cocktail with a twist, featuring mango sauce and slices of avocado instead of the traditional Marie sauce—really nice! For the main course, we had beef bourguignon, which was tender and bursting with flavor. The chef even came by to check on us, which added a special touch. The staff was wonderful and friendly; even though it was our first visit, they made us feel like old friends. It was a fantastic experience overall!

The food here is excellent and of high quality. The dishes are well-balanced and showcase great culinary skill. The service was fantastic—fresh and unhurried. The beer selection is also nice. Both the front-of-house and kitchen staff were very friendly. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

We visited early on a Friday and noticed many changes since the previous owners. Wow! The food is simply amazing now. What it looks like matches how it tastes; it's truly exceptional. We really hope the current owners receive plenty of support so they can maintain this little gem in East Leicestershire with the success it deserves. We enjoyed sitting in the garden beforehand and overheard others raving about the spectacular Sunday roasts, so we’ll definitely be returning with our family to try them out as well. Well done to the Bell Inn, the chef, Lorna, and the front-of-house team!

Really great pub in a beautiful village. also does good food and has a beautiful rosengarten. the personal is excellent and friendly. music Sunday is fantastic, with various live actions every week, starting in the afternoon at 3.30

Fab lunch.....lovely beer...great location....you've got to go here...xx
