Pookie's Beer, Burgers Bocce - Marion

We love this place, and even played for them for free (wè call it Barstorming) to try to get a gig there. The answer was excellent as always, but they seemed to avoid us. It's 100% her loss! I don't mean that in a pessimistic way, it's actually sad because after a new playground we have 98% New Year's Prize!

We stopped in for a few drinks. Food was good, a lot of variety and I would recommend you try it. Service was good, drinks were cold and they had a good variety of shot specials for the day. A great place to get friends together. Tons of space and activities.

Good atmosphere but food was lacking. Fried mushroom app was fine. I took on bite out of my cheeseburger and ate 3 of my overcooked onion rings. Burger was burnt beyond edible. My fiancee didn't eat much of hers cause it was also overdone. Waitress took my full tray away and didn't even ask why I didn't eat any of it. I don't send food back cause of personal reasons. I left as hungry as i went in. Won't be back.

Well my husband and I waited for 30 minutes to get served and then the waitress come out to tell us the cook was no longer cooking and they talked to the manager and the manager said it was ok, yes we cam in close to closing but why serve us drinks and take our order and come and tell us this. The food looked good from the menu, but we had to go to 17th street barbecue which was awesome food and service.

I 'm disappointed in my last encounter with Pookie 's. I go there for their wings that I find very tasty. Unfortunately,my last visit was not up to the standard I was familiar with. I had two orders to take out. They told me it 'll be 15 minutes for my older and when I got there 25 minutes later the order wasn 't done (I 'm a patient person but I was headed to a scheduled event). I waited 5 minutes longer since the bar tender did not know what my exact order was. I hoped that wouldn 't be an issue. I get my order and I pay $24 and head to my event. I got to my destination ready to eat and my chicken was pink and rubbery. It wasn 't cooked well. The people around me saw my wings and were describing how I was going to be sick from my one bite. The other order for my friend could 've even eaten their order (boneless chicken). We both threw it away. I called up there to discuss the issue with my order and customer service was horrible. The interrogation and implying, the chicken comes smoked so it should look like that was their response. I tried to explain to them that I had their chicken several times on numerous occasions and never had it be like this. They considered I come in right away but I could not do so. I was told I could not get a credit and if I cannot come in then there is nothing they can do for me. This experience and lack of customer service was not up to their standard. I expect more from a place I enjoyed my wings. I 'm sure I lost $24 and myself as a consumer. I hope it gets back to the standard I know they are capable of.
