It definitely has a special vibe here and great for brunch dinners birthdays even party get together. The seafood tower is a sight to behold with king crab and oysters. 1 pound seafood tower pacific ocean views with marina boats @cafe_del_rey! 1/2 pound of king crab, dozen oysters, ceviche lobster pasta, dry aged beef burger, charcuterie cheese board, truffle pizza, coconut curry soup, and peach sangrias! They have valet parking for only $2 so easy! They have kids coloring menu as well and kids menu. Drinks are really good and decorative!
Was my first time at the venue in Marina del Rey. Really pretty with waterfront views of the marina. The seafood was fresh and delicious! Cocktails were great too. Found out they have a happy hour and brunch on Sunday too! You can just come by or call and make a reservation. They also have a newly renovated event space if you want to have a private function. Easily accessible with a parking lot out front and valet. Their crab legs and fresh oyesters we're amazing! Little lemon, sauce and delicious! The staff is super friendly and helpful too on recommendations. Definitely will be back! The view of the sunset from our table was spectacular! All the nice boats and marina views are a gem! Great for a romantic dinner date.
Came here with my in laws and ordered the Filet Mignon and Blue crab cakes. They came out well presented and tasted great. I loved the food. Service was great and very attentive. I loved the lobby how there was a welcoming fireplace for people meet and converse. The view from the tables are very nice that overlooks the marina. In the Mens bathroom, the fixtures are loose the countertop has holes rusted out look (it 's not rust because it 's marble) along with the towel holder need updating, some of the items are broken and mirror has black spots due to de-lamination. If the restaurant could update the bathroom it would bring the restaurant up a notch.
We love Cafe Del Rey. We go there as often as we can. It is somewhat pricey, so is not a place we go to every night. Cafe Del Rey Is always spot-on with service and food selection. You can make a reservation or you can just come in. I suggest a reservation or you will have a little bit of a wait. They have a truffle pizza which is out of this world. The service is always fantastic, they check on you just enough to make sure you are taken care of but not rushed. Frankly, all of their food is fantastic. You simply cannot go wrong at Cafe Del Rey. Have a great time.
BOUNTIFUL BRUNCH WITH A VIEW This is a gorgeous place to wow out of town guests with a view. At our bye bye brunch, we splurged on the best deal the Prix Fixe Three Course Brunch, which included unlimited mimosas for $44 each. Our waitress promptly disappeared after taking our order. Since I had read the Yelp reviews bemoaning the service beforehand, we summoned another after waiting ten minutes. As she arrived, I could see that our first one was caught up in serving at a baby shower. Fortunately, our second waitress stayed on top of things. Delicious, complimentary mini muffins assuaged our hunger as we sipped mimosas and relished the view of the marina. The Calamari Fritti arugula, sweet cherry peppers, peroncinni and marinara sauce normally $16 was delightfully spicy. The Crisp Faroe Island Salmon regularly $33 was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Poached rock shrimp, grilled artichoke hearts, garlic chips, asparagus puree, and crispy baby artichokes were fantastic and creative accompaniments. Shrimp N'Grits $24 a la carte cheesy grits, shrimp, pancetta, sofrito, and roasted poblano vinaigrette aren't my thing, but it was interesting to taste them. My niece, however, didn't think they had enough shrimp. Though we were all full, that didn't stop us from devouring dessert. You're allowed two flavors I chose pistachio and vanilla. from the selection of ice cream, which was rich and creamy. My niece chose the chocolate mousse type cake, which looked too sweet for me to even taste. To counteract the endless mimosas, we ordered caffeine to jolt us back into packing gear. My latte was warm and smooth. Our meal was so satisfying, none of us had a hankering for food until late that evening. Make sure you have reservations, and request window seats. Others in front of us hadn't, though every table has a decent view. Surprisingly, there is no outdoor seating. Valet parking is a reasonable $3. For a pricey ray of romance or celebration, Cafe Del Rey is the spot!
