Tijuana Joe's Mexican Cantina

Tijuana Joe?s is our favorite Mexican place in town. I really enjoy the chimichanga and cheese dip! I also live that they carry plantains. They also have a great outdoor area where you can enjoy the beautiful weather.

I absolutely love the food here! It's authentic and very tasty. I drove 1 hour to come here for some really good Mexican food and I would recommend the chicken soup, fajitas and of course you can never go wrong with the margaritas. Everything is delicious and the prices are reasonable ????

One friend ordered a piña colada, and I went for the frozen mango margarita, which came highly recommended. It was super frosty and added to the festive vibe of taco night. I opted for the mahi mahi tacos with rice and a side of pickled jalapeños for an extra kick. I didn’t really need the jalapeños since the slaw was already perfect, but I added them for some extra flavor. My friend tried the chilaquiles casserole, but it wasn't what we expected. We thought it would be a layered Mexican lasagna with corn tortillas, but instead, it resembled fajita nachos topped with chips and sauce. However, my friend enjoyed it and took the leftovers home. We also ordered a cheesy dip and a side of plantains, which were amazing—definitely a must-try to share. The service was quick and friendly, and the place was busy on Saturday night. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot!

I stopped by for lunch after my MRI and needed to hydrate quite a bit. The place is charming, though smaller than my usual spot. It's the same friendly atmosphere as at Tijuana Joe's, though!

I recently ordered arroz con pollo to go, and I was disappointed when I got home. The rice looked and tasted like it had been reheated several times, and it had a strong odor. The sweet plantains were burnt, hard, dry, and clearly not fresh. I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again. To the owner who claims I'm lying, please take a look at the picture I posted and see for yourself. It's evident who's being dishonest. Additionally, your response was very unprofessional.
