Taqueria Michoacana - Margate

What a jewel to find!! My first time enjoying huaraches and it was sooo good. And they did a great job with the Pupusas. Everything is fresh and to order. Look forward to trying more menu! I'm back.

I’ve driven past this restaurant for years and finally decided to stop in and give it a try. I’m so glad I did! Originally from Los Angeles, I’ve been searching for a great Mexican restaurant since moving to Florida, and this is definitely the spot! The food was incredibly authentic, bursting with the flavors of Mexico. When I arrived, the place was packed with lunch customers, and the plates that passed by looked and smelled amazing. If you’re on the lookout for a fantastic Mexican restaurant, I highly recommend Taqueria Michoacana!

This charming, authentic Mexican restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with reasonable prices and a clean environment. I would love to see some background music to fill the silence, but the incredible food more than makes up for it. They have unique cow tongue dishes that are hard to find elsewhere, and I noticed on the menu that they serve Menudo on weekends—I can't wait to come back and try it! They also provide complimentary chips and salsa, which is a nice touch.

I moved from California in search of authentic Mexican food and spent three years looking for a place in Florida. I recently discovered this restaurant, and I have to say, the food is quite good—better than what my kids and I had tried before. They don’t offer carne asada fries or nachos, and while the burritos could be improved, they’re still decent. On both of my visits, there was only one waitress working, which made the wait time a bit longer. They provide both red and green salsa, but I found the red salsa to be mild. The menu features a great variety of dishes at reasonable prices, and overall, I really enjoyed my experience here. You won’t regret choosing this restaurant!
