Captain Brien's Seafood Raw

This was such a cool place! The service was really fun and was on top of their game always refilling our drinks and checking up on us. The food was delicious and fresh, even the kids like the food, surprising considering how picky of eaters they are. I would also recommend a comedy show, should you have the means you should definitely stop in for one, it was a good night out with the hubby. Basically if you only have a short amount of time on Marco Island, you should try to pop in and visit the Capt and his awesome crew!

We found Capt Brien's after the beach, and although it is a seafood restaurant, I was in the mood for some hearty meat. I order the blackened prime rib with bleu cheese crumbles and it was absolutely delicious. My wife enjoyed her shrimp scampi, everything was very fresh. We had a pleasant time and will be back soon.

We went to Capt Brien's while on vacation in Marco Island, after our hotel recommended them for their seafood. We saw that a show was about to start so we decided to the dinner/show. It was comedian Ahmed Ahmed and he was hilarious! I ordered the bronzed snapper, and was not disappointed, everything tasted very fresh. My husband had the tenderloin tips, and devoured every last bite. We will definitely be back next time we are in Marco, and hopefully the comedian is just as funny.

If you are ever on Marco and looking for some good seafood then check out Capt. Brien's Seafood and Raw Bar. Their Stone Crabs are breath taking and their Raw Oysters are the best in the area, period.

I've read most of these reviews already word for word exact copies on other (competing) websites... are these a smear campaign? Is there a jealous competitor out there with a lot of ambition and little desire to work harder at bad mouthing the competition? At least change a word or two here and there...!
