I am from Cosenza and must say that you can find tons of greta spots where to eat. But if you really want to feel the taste of the most genuine Calabria, do a favour to yourself and go to Desiderio. Best home made dishes ever! It is really a restaurant driven from a family ; both service and food quality is excellent. Go for antipasto they will bring you lots of dishes with exquisuite little portions. You will be full afetr this already. SHouldn´t you be full, y7ou can go for one of their primi piatti or secobndi (i personally love their pasta with porcini). The best part is the price: this is truly unexpensive (average 15 20 euros per person, drinks included) and you will get the bottle of amaro at your table to end happily the dinner.
