フィードバックを提供するIt takes a lot for me to give a poor review but my husband and I were really disappointed in our meals. I’ll start off by saying the staff was very friendly, restaurant was clean, but the food is where the downfall was. I ordered the Cauliflower Steak and my husband got a beef pasta. Our biggest issue was the unbalanced flavors in both of our dishes. My cauliflower was alright on its own where the couscous it came with had next to no flavor at all. The curry like sauce it came with was overpowering on the cauliflower. My husband’s pasta was tough, some pieces even crunchy, possible under a heat lamp too long? The sauce on the beef didn’t particularly compliment the sauce on the pasta and it gave an odd flavor. For the price of the meal we don’t feel the quality was where it should be. I don’t recommend.
We decided to try this place after reading good reviews on Trip Advisor. We were a group of two couples and made a reservation for 4 on a Saturday evening. When we walked in, the place was packed and a little too loud for our liking. That’s usually not a good sign for me. We ordered a round of cocktails and I had the Very Blueberry Martini which was really good but for some reason it was pink. We had the Soicy Avocado Bombs and Pulpo ala Grille (grilled Octopus) for appetizers which were excellent. My wife and I ordered Seared sea scallops and Seven hour slow braised short rib. Both of the entrees were delicious. We were stuffed but we saw how good the Crème Brûlée looked on the table next to us and ordered one to split between us, it was great. Also ordered another round of cocktails. We really enjoyed the food here and will be back again one day. The only thing I did not like was how loud it was, everything else was great.
We sat on the patio, which was not as open air as expected. The food was creatively made and presented. Cocktails were good. Carrot soup is the bomb. Prices were not cheap, but not unreasonable for the quality of the food. My complaints relate to non-compliance with social distancing. We were first seated within 2 feet of a neighboring person. It turned out that that person was the manager who made a bit of a scene about moving to another table to accomodate us. Then, he sat at another table and railed in a loud and intrusive voice about the inconveniences of the pandemic and politics. For this reason, I would not return.
The food is high class and delicious. The drinks are top of the line. The ambiance is amazing and follows a modern high class theme. The staff sets the bar high and it's amongst the best service I have ever received. Aqua had become my favorite date night spot. This is a must try!!!
Lunch with my wife. We started splitting an Adriatic Caprese (different because its Feta cheese not Burrata but still very good)$18.00. I had a Harvest Filet Salad (Filet prepared as ordered)$23.00 and my wife had the Santorini Salmon Salad (She said it was scrumptious)$21.00. Accompany these with a bottle of White Haven Sauvignon Blanc(Really Crisp)$52.00. Bryant was our server and was very attentive but not obtrusive. We'll definitely be back.
