フィードバックを提供するWe have eaten at MM restaurants in over 5 states. Their funky decor and amazing pizza crust keep us coming back. I Tonight we had a couple of glasses of wine, a few tossed salads, some pretzels and 3 small pizzas (each person in our group got his/her own). There was a red potato pie, a house special, and a great white w/ grilled chicken added. All were fantastic! The red potato pie has sliced potatoes, sour cream, and chives. The house has meats and veggies (deluxe), and the great white has an alfredo base. Our bill came to about $100 w/ tip (2 wines, pretzels, 2 salads, 3 small pizzas). Yum! We'll be back!
The food is good, the staff is nice...but the service is very slow, 30 minutes to get our food and about 15 minutes to get our drinks.
As much as I love pizza, I can 't believe we didn 't come here earlier. It 's so good, we 've been three times in the last 2 weeks. The atmosphere is perfect for when you want to be tucked away to catch up. It 's also perfect for when you want to be tucked away to pig out. Everything we 've had has been delicious. But.......a small tip for the wait staff. When a big part of the menu (and the draw of the restaurant) is a build your own pizza situation, maybe break out the pen and paper and write the orders down. First visit: all good, but 2 of the small pizzas were for extra pepperoni and the pepperoni was sparse. Second visit: Server comes back to confirm pizza toppings on one pizza. When the order comes, my pizza that is supposed to have 'half the cheese ' is swimming in cheese. Third visit: Now this one was a little sad for my boyfriend, although he swears it was fine. He ordered a calzone. I ordered a thin pizza, extra crispy, with 'almost no cheese '. The pizza that came out was beautiful, but it was not thin crust and was swimming in cheese. I took the server up on her offer to make the one I ordered. When my boyfriend cut into his very crispy calzone, the toppings rolled out on the plate. That 's when we realized the server clearly put my special instructions on his order: the calzone was made extra crispy, using thin dough with almost no cheese. It was the saddest of all the hot pockets. But it WAS all really good and I would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back. Just bust out the pen and paper. No shame in taking notes. We promise we won 't think less of you. What I 'm really begging for you to do is not put me in the position of embarrassing my boyfriend on our next visit by telling you we 're ok with waiting for you to go grab your order pad. Back in my Pizza Hut days, we were required to keep pen and paper tucked away in our little black aprons...........
Great pizza and even better since they offer a vegan option while visiting Texas. The crust is different than your traditional pizza, but different in a good way. Very chewy.
I love Mellow Mushroom. I've been to 3-4 of them all over the Texas area and the food is great. I love the sourdough crust and the fresh taste of the pizza. This location honestly has been my least favorite. In reading the other reviews I'm not the only one who has issues with the service. I have learned over the years that fresh made food takes time but MM kind of pushes it. Our server this time was very nice and helpful, he told us up front that pizzas were taking about 15 min to cook and we were one of 3 tables so I couldn't see where the back order was but it still took about 25 min to get our food and the only offer to refill my drink came with the check, which was a little late. We had the Veg Out and the Funky Q chicken pizza and both were excellent, well cooked and piping hot when they came to the table. As I mentioned the crust is awesome. I'll keep going here because I like the food but I might go back to another location where the service matches the food.
