Miami Bakehouse Falcon - Mandurah

Love it. Have been many times and its consistently very good but $18 for three pies is very expensive.

Great Pies. My husband and I called in to the Miami Bakehouse in Falcon whilst we were staying in Yunderup for a week. I had read the reviews on urbanspoon and was keen to try out their wares. My husband ordered a steak, bacon and cheese. I ordered a garlic prawn pie. My husband thought it was 'wrong ' that a pie be made with anything other than steak but I must disagree! My husband said that his pie was delicious and the meat was juicy and tender. He felt it was a little bit overpriced for a pie however. My Garlic Prawn pie was simply delicious. The prawns were in abundance and the sauce with divine. My pie cost $8.90 which is dearer than your average pie but I felt that the ingredients justified the price. The pastry was mouth watering and certainly added to the enjoyment factor. Will definitely be back :

Nice cake and my wife loved the pasty. The boy behind the counter was very polite. A touch expensive, but quality is exceptional. Shop is always clean and display counters well equipped with delicious treats.

We were looking forward to trying this award-winning spot but frankly, we weren 't impressed. The brownie was dry and too sweet. The cherry coconut slice tasted very artificial, especially the cherries . Both of our hot drinks (latte and chai latte) were also way too sweet, as was the apple almond plat loaf. The chicken coconut curry pie was OK but not worth $9. The garlic prawn pie was suggested by the staff so my partner tried it, and it wasn 't very tasty either, and definitely not worth $13! All things considered, not recommended and won 't be returning.
