Mei Jing - Mandurah

Pretty expensive for average food. I've gotten takeout here a few times, and it's pretty westernized and average. Nothing really special about it. Which I wouldn't mind but the prices are quite steep for the quality of food. The decor inside isn't very inviting so I've never eaten in, only had takeout. I did really enjoy their duck, which was surprisingly tender and moist, but it's not really enough to keep me coming back. I wouldn't really say it's bad, it's very pretty average and there's not really enough of a reason to keep coming back

Food is okay but it seems to me that much is preprepared and really only food hall quality. Which is sad for Mandurah as we don't have a good Chinese Restaurant in the area. Most others are similar and offer low quality food. For the prices charged here food is expensive.

Another birthday midweek meal with friends. Mei Jing meals back to their usual high quality. Particularly liked the King Prawns vegetable dish, was excellent. Service very good as usual and atmosphere very nice and comfortable. The owner, Paul, always helpful and friendly.

I have just had a takeaway meal well I paid for it tasted it at home all went into bin! I know it is a Monday but surely they should have some standards even on a slow night.Plum sauce was a small container of sauce which tasted like neat kecap manis Disgusting the rest of it not much better! NEVER AGAIN.

A rainy and cold night and most people decided to stay home! Restaurant was very quiet and meal not as good as usual, (maybe cook lost usual enthusiasm?). King prawn vegetables excellent as usual but salt & pepper pork dry and not nice! Lemon chicken also dry ( overcooked?) & greasy. Staff service cant be faulted as usual. Always willing to please. Overall a rare dissapointment!
