Shivani Restaurant - Māndu

We had not tasted dal bafale before. So we tried dal bafale here. The preparation was nice and tasty. The service was little slow here.

The food at this restaurant was delicious and served by attentive staff. Even though the atmosphere was average, the food was excellent, especially considering it's located in a remote area.

Located on the main road in Mandu, our stay at Shivani Hotel was excellent. The room was extremely spacious and very clean. The hotel is conveniently situated for exploring Mandu and visiting various points of interest. We loved the charming center with a big tree where we enjoyed our morning chai. The prices at the hotel were fair and the staff was kind and accommodating, even sharing their network connection with us. The restaurant on-site was also good, becoming our go-to spot for meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Mandu and would not hesitate to stay at Shivani Hotel again. The town offers a rich heritage from the Mughal Empire with fascinating sites scattered throughout, as well as unique Baobab trees that make it even more special. A stay of 2-3 days in Mandu is well worth it, and we highly recommend Shivani Resort Restaurant.

Food is very nice, but service is bit slow. Though the service was slow due to heavy rush. Good option for having pure veg lunch.

This is supposedly the best food in Mandu. I was not so impressed. I shared the Shivani special with my driver, with some special rice and Dahl. They couldn't do garlic nan, which is my favorite, so I had to do with normal roti. We drank bottled mango nectar, as fresh isn't in season. Service is off-hand. But where else?
