Tony, I’m sorry you moved because of me. 20 years ago this cafe became home to me, now I’m almost afraid to come in even for coffee, which I was not served today. Barbara Knudson Casey and Rhonda this was to let you know your dad didn’t say anything bad to me. I just asked if I could sit there because I was having lunch with Lynda and Ron. He replied that if I sat he would move so I sat and he moved. I wish he was not so stubborn and let his anger go. So happy we found this place! Classic small town cafe with fast, friendly service. Great fresh food with big portions. Don’t forget to try their pie, it’s delicious.

For many generations the Syvrud family and their descendants have enjoyed this great place. I’ve got more memories than I can count. From breakfast gatherings to lunches. Our families gathering together in-front of the cafe for the 4th of July parade. My kids always get the bubble gum ice cream after the meal. My aunt Karol is a Mandan resident and she sends us Ohms gift cards every year for our birthdays. I really hope that whoever buys it keeps the tradition going.
