フィードバックを提供するMy colleague and I recently visited the Spicy Grill on Higher Ardwick in Manchester for lunch, as we were working nearby. I ordered a donner kebab and Pete ordered a chicken tikka kebab. While waiting for our food to be ready, we couldn't help but notice how dirty the restaurant looked. At that point, we began to question our choice for lunch. When our food arrived, we found it to be bland and the donner was very fatty. Pete mentioned that the chicken tikka kebab also lacked flavor. Despite being called the Spicy Grill, the food did not live up to its name. Upon further inspection on Just Eat, we discovered that the restaurant had a one-star hygiene rating. With this information in mind, we decided to discard the remaining food.
I used to work nearby and was a regular at this restaurant with some coworkers every Friday. They serve amazing curries in a casual setting with plastic chairs and formica tables. It may not be the place to go to impress someone, unless you want to show them a great curry. The staff, although a bit disorganized, are charming and we always had a good time with them. This curry cafe is not as well-known as others in Manchester, as it is not located in the trendy Northern Quarter. The owner is very welcoming and used to treat me well, often giving me extra curry. The freshly made chapatis and naans from the tandoor oven are delicious. It can get quite busy during Friday lunchtime.
As a fan of delicious curries, I thoroughly enjoyed the amazing beef vindaloo at this restaurant. The decor may not be fancy, but the aromas from the kitchen are incredible. The spicy scents fill the air and make you want to stay. The restaurant offers a great variety of other curries and kebabs. We loved it so much that we ended up eating here three days in a row.
This is a converted 'pub '. If you want the frills and niceties forget this place. All you get here is good wholesome curries and kebabs. Plentiful amounts at a very reasonable cost. I would like to say that I 'm becoming a regular now. Each day they have a couple of 'specials ' they are worth a go. If you are a curry fanatic, as I am, then this place is worth a visit.
This place serves the best donator kebab in the city. I especially like her chicken ktikka donor, who is loaded with so much huh that you can't finish it alone. a must try space for all Indian / Pakistani food lovers.
