Lead Station - Manchester

We had a pleasant meal at this restaurant. My husband ordered steak and chips, while I opted for a flavorful spring salad. We were pleased to find that there were only a few other diners since it was early. However, the loud background music was bothersome and made it difficult to have a conversation. The service was a bit abrupt, with the waitress simply saying "Yep" when we asked for the bill. Despite these issues, the restaurant had a bright and airy atmosphere, which we enjoyed.

I hadn't been to the Lead Station in a while, but last night's dinner was fantastic. The four of us ordered different starters and main courses, and every dish was delicious. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, and the staff was friendly. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long before returning.

There were good and bad things about our experience tonight, and this is a shame as with some changes it could have been a great experience. my wife had many gluten-free options (good), the salmon starter was very delicious (excellent), and the...general presentation of the food was attraktiw (good). However, the portion sizes were very small for the starter (bad) and especially small for the rather average pistachio chicken main, especially given the rather high price (very disappointing). strangely the starter arrived quickly, but the very small main lasted absolutely old (an extra minute or more after the finish of the starter, even if we had this up to the personal flag). and the chicken-head itself was average. the carrots were very hard (no way, this could be called al dente), the crispy legs that should come with the breast were not crispy (we thought it was a piece soft, fried pig and there was only one (i.e. no more plural as on the menu) that was very small. the little kartoffel cubes were beautiful, but there were literally these little things on the whole plate! we discussed some of these problems with the personal, but there was no excuse for the long delay and the explanation for the strange chicken legs was not convincing. the cocks were tasty, but the largest part of the narrow glass was taken up with ice to make the growing feeling of the overload for everything worse (we had to each shlupf avenge). the music seemed more like something that was more suitable for a club and even for a Friday night rather repetitive and louder and made it difficult to converse. sure are many of these things easy to fix, but if they don't I can't say we're going back.

Fabulous Sunday dinner, cozy vibes. after some visit in the lead station in the last months it is our new visit to the restaurant. the veggie burger also recommend we will definitely return.

I always forget to leave reviews for lead station as it is so local, but recently they were so beautiful and accommodating for me that I have to tell people about what is precious this place. the food and cocktails are so good. it is. a chilled place that they can visit for every occasion. family, couples, romantic or celebration. it's just ticking each single box. for me, however, to live locally and to know the personal, it is the small dinge. I recently had a bad injury and they're taking care of me so well. they will book me in an accessible table that I prefer to feel so welcome and take care of me. in the januar I had a girl night with my daughter, a family night and a Sunday roast and every time the food and the service was exceptional. back in the morning to get me out of the house (judgment permit) and cannot wait for the sirloin steak! thanks to anne, brand and the whole personal.
