The Mercantile/sweet Simplicity

The staff here are consistently friendly and attentive to their customers. The food is great, the tea glasses are always topped up, and it’s a local gem. If someone had a bad experience, I believe it’s an exception and not the rule. I highly encourage you to return and give it another shot—you won’t regret it. We frequent this place and have never had a negative experience.

We have been living in the area for a year and recently discovered this hidden gem! We absolutely love this place! The food is excellent, very reasonably priced, and Renee is fantastic!

I dined at this restaurant this week and was impressed by the incredible selection of vegetables, reminiscent of home-cooked meals. They serve the best sweet tea in Tennessee, and the staff is wonderful. It's a dining experience you won't forget, with the finest desserts south of Canada.
