Surf Taco Manasquan

One of the best places for lunch. excellent menu selection and food quality is always great. Staff is super friendly; their fresh salsa choices are great. Definitely recommend it.

My first time going to the Surf Taco and last. I purchased a combo with two tacos, chips, fountain drink, rice and beans. My taco choices were chicken and shrimp. So starting with the chicken taco, the meat tasted charred and burned but was still somehow cold?! It had adequate fixings but they just couldn't mask the terrible taste of the meat and the shrimp taco was just as bad. Something about the shrimp just tasted off and there was way too much cabbage maybe to hide the shrimp taste? I felt like I was having a cabbage taco. Also way to much money for that quality of food. Place was a little messy on the counters but not too bad. Had to go back after leaving because cashier forgot to give me a cup. They did have a cook needed sign, hope they find someone.

Love coming here after a day at the shore. Best pinto bean and cheese burrito around. Several different salsas to choice from.

Ordered takeout for dinner and was extremely disappointed. Nachos were delicious but cold and had few chips. My Surf burrito lacked any blackened mahi mahi and was instead filled with too much cabbage, some rice, and black beans. My girlfriend had the Surf bowl, which contained a bit of mahi mahi but also with way too much cabbage. Will not be visiting this location again.

Our Go-to when coming back from the beach. Great selection, always fresh and made to order. We love eating outside when the weather permits- Music selection playing is perfect. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They need to clean the bathrooms more often- Kinda nasty!
