フィードバックを提供するFor instance, if you order a bagel that they don't have in stock, they wait until you arrive to pick it up to inform you, rather than calling you beforehand. I managed a local restaurant for over four years, and I would never allow my staff to treat customers the way they've treated me here. Take today (July 25, 2023) for example: I called to place an order for six bagels. The employee took my order while rushing through the conversation, and ended the call abruptly with "your order number" followed by a click—no thank you, no "see you soon," just a dial tone. Customer service has always been important to me, and I pride myself on being polite on the phone. There's absolutely no reason for such rudeness. I understand that running a restaurant can be challenging and customers can be difficult, but there’s simply no excuse for this behavior. These are just a couple of examples out of many. Honestly, I'm done ordering from them until they can find staff who actually want to provide good service. It's not that complicated. And maybe they should also learn how to cut a bagel properly—it's really not rocket science.
During the Covid pandemic, they understandably stopped allowing customers inside the store, but it's surprising that they still haven't reopened their doors. The teenager working the drive-thru window was quite rude and unfriendly. If you have a negative attitude, please don't put out a tip cup. This review is for the Manahawkin location, by the way.
I waited 20 minutes for a disappointing bagel sandwich. It had just one slice of cheese and even less egg. Honestly, it's the worst breakfast sandwich I've had in years.
It was truly a disappointment. There was staff dressed inappropriate for work wearing flip-flops and shorts. I get it hot, but you work near a stove and other items that get hot. Also, going from cashier handling money and cards to touching cooked food with your hands is gross. From someone who's worked in a kitchen, seeing this was a disappointment. They were extremely rude because of how busy they were. Also, there are way too many avocados on the sandwiches. Also was charged 8 dallors in taxes for a meal that was 15. Never coming back.
Food is usually mediocre. food today was inedible because my croissant had mold on it. Such a shame. live right down the street and will give it a few years prob. not sure how it had mold, its usually really busy. maybe croissants sell slower, not sure.
