The Red Plum - Mamaroneck

Always amazing! It's definitely one of our top choices! We absolutely love their sushi, hibachi, and chicken lettuce cups.

On a positive note, the food was fresh, and the staff were attentive to our requests, such as when we asked for sauce on the side. We enjoyed the food and found the atmosphere to be relaxed. However, the waitress guided us to a table indoors at the back of the sushi bar without asking if we preferred to sit outside or inside. We didn’t mind, but it’s worth mentioning if you have a preference. The bathrooms were very clean, which was appreciated. Moreover, the prices were reasonable, especially given the restaurant’s prime location in the bustling city center. We would recommend this place for a meal with family and friends. Our only hope is that management ensures their employees can rest in areas that are out of sight of customers.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, the cups felt outdated and could use an update. The dishes arrived warm, which was fine, but I would prefer them to be hotter next time. Overall, the flavors were great, and the service was friendly and accommodating.

I'm quite particular about my sushi, and all I can say is that this place is fantastic. They offer an incredible selection of sushi; I called ahead to check if they had fatty tuna, and they did, along with sea urchin. The variety of fish and rolls was impressive. The service was remarkably fast and efficient; my glass was never left empty. The portions of sushi were outstanding—most places give you just one piece, but here you get two generous, high-quality pieces of freshly cut sushi. They also have a great food menu and a full bar, making it suitable for any occasion, from a romantic date to a family gathering. Thank you, Red Plums, for an amazing meal! I will definitely be back.

This place was amazing. Fresh food, tons of variety and beautiful drinks. The Beijing Entenrolle was exalted! My niece has eaten more than me!
