フィードバックを提供するI'm not sure why this restaurant doesn't have more reviews. I visited for the view and had low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. The service was attentive and quick, and the food was delicious both times I dined there. The upper floor with its open view of the beach was definitely a highlight. The staff were friendly and overall, I preferred Santiago's over other beach restaurants.
Situated at the end of the road overlooking the sea, this restaurant offers a stunning view, especially from the upper balcony where you can dine. At night, the place is lit up with charming shell lights, creating a tropical ambiance. The fish we ordered was not only fresh, but also beautifully cooked. The service was excellent, however, the tables could have been cleaner. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at this restaurant in India.
The restaurant may not be the cleanest or most stylish, but you can sit in plastic chairs and enjoy a drink while overlooking the beach. The seafood platter was excellent, featuring grilled calamari instead of fried, which was wonderfully fresh and served with beautifully roasted vegetables and rice.
Like most tourist-centric restaurants in Mahabalipuram, this place has Indian, Chinese and Western options. The Indian food is good (I had kalamri Curry, Paratha and Chapati). The view over Othavadai St is beautiful at night when all the lights are on, and the...fans keep you cool. The staff includes an attentive waiter from Nepal whose name comes from me. Sandpiper beer appears on request.
Alberto and Gladys are the friendly owners of this place in Mahabalipuram. He told us that the name comes because of his first son 's name and then Coconut because he was born in Kerala. Albert is also an expert masseur and yoga instructor!!! Do not...hesitate in asking for info! They run a cosy and really good restaurant in this funny village of Tamil Nadul. The food is delicious their 'Chicken 65 ' is a must, the best we tried in India. Also chicken curry and grilled fish, we returned to this friendly place because of both food and their kind owners which , made this place our favourite while in Mahabalipuram. Chill Kingfisher beer, tasty food , music, all for not more than 200 RP per person. A complete bargain!!! Undoubtedly one of the best restaurants with very nice ambiance and roof top dining room. I kindly recomend a visit to Santiago Coconut cafe, it is brand new and there are not many people since I would say that the other restaurants in town were totally packed with tourists.
