We have been up a fair few times since and it always has the same atmosphere. After being sent a photo from a friend last week of the lunch they had, I HAD to try it for food too and was not disappointed. I had a steak and stilton pie which was devine, served with chunky chips and fresh veg, and my partner had battered hake which again was absolutely amazing! The only thing to be aware of is that we got there for midday and by 1230 it was full. I will deifnitely be back up and will definitely eat there again!
I have been to this restaurant several times and have always been impressed. During a solo visit in early December, I was warmly welcomed by a few locals. The beer selection was great and well-maintained. I also had a delicious sausage sandwich for lunch at a reasonable price. I returned more recently on New Year's Eve around 10pm and found the bar staff to be very friendly and efficient. Once again, the beer was excellent. I highly recommend stopping by this pub, which is not far from the ridge. The Brewers is probably my favorite among Malvern's pubs, and there are some good options to choose from.
My friend and I ordered the Salmon with blue rice and poached egg. I have rarely enjoyed a meal as much as this one. The food was of top quality and excellent.
Came here with the intention of eating. Checked the online sample menu which is posted on the pubs website before visiting but when I turned up the menu was nothing like the sample which was a shame. Decided not to eat because didn't like the sound of anything on the menu so decided to just have a drink instead, the actual menu did not resemble the sample in any way that was uploaded to the pubs website. Noticed that one of the locals ordered something not on the menu and it was delivered personally by the chef(male), I assumed it to be the chef as the man had a kitchen apron on. They both seemed to know each other very well, perhaps that's why they were allowed to order something they preferred and not on the menu. It seems that this is a community owned pub, owned by the community for the local community or that's how the menu appeared as if they catered for the shareholders rather than visitors from further afield. In a lovely location on the Malvern Hills, parking quite difficult but possible in a nearby lay-by a few minutes walk away.
Situated off the road in west Malvern, The Brewer's Arms offers a quiet and cozy dining experience. In the warm October weather, we enjoyed a delightful Sunday lunch featuring perfectly cooked roast beef and salmon with shrimps in a savory brown butter sauce. The prices were very reasonable considering the high quality of the meals. The starters and desserts were simple yet delicious, such as the vegan cherry bakewell with raspberry sauce. The dishes were beautifully presented and the staff was friendly, despite a slightly long wait between ordering and being served. This allowed us to enjoy the sunshine and stunning countryside views from the lower garden area. We highly recommend a visit to The Brewer's Arms, but be sure to arrive early as they do not take bookings.
