Earlier today, we stopped by this restaurant on our way to Whitby. The aroma of freshly ground coffee was amazing and the coffee itself was excellent. Although there wasn't a lot of food options available, the staff suggested purchasing from the nearby artisan shops in the courtyard and bringing our selections back to Roost to enjoy with our coffee. Overall, a highly recommended great experience.

Lovely place, great coffee. Just wished they were open for a bit longer, even 4! Would quite like a leisurely coffee at around 2:30/3 but they're shutting up.

The restaurant has a stylish appearance and the coffee was decent (although not exceptional to me). It was impressive that they roast their own coffee. However, I did not enjoy much else about the experience. The greeting was not very welcoming, and the seating system seemed disorganized from my perspective. We had to wait in line to enter the restaurant fully, and then when we requested a table, we were told to find our own seating and then wait in line again. Fortunately, a kind couple allowed us to join them at their table. Despite the long queue and numerous staff, there was no indication that we could learn more about the coffee they serve. It's possible that I just caught them on a bad day, but overall, it was not a positive first impression for me.

The restaurant offers a fantastic array of flavors at a reasonable price with generous portion sizes. Outdoor seating is available in a charming courtyard, making it a great spot to sit back, unwind, and savor some delicious ice cream.
