O' Dourado - Malpica de Bergantinos

So, I just went to have lunch with my family, to celebrate dad 's birthday. Food was ok, and the waiter lovely. But after an hour in the place, and having spent good money, as soon as the desserts were served, the owner (or we believe she is the owner, or manager) approached the table to ask us to have the coffees outside, at the bar. We agreed, as we understood maybe she had other customers waiting... but still... Literally a minute after the dessert was served and she came to speak to us, she came back, she saw we were still sitting (obviously), and started swearing (we can translate it as for f* s* , and other lovely words). I just couldn 't believe it. I still can 't. We left without having the coffees. Without hesitation, I don 't recommend. (I can see from previous reviews they don 't take criticism very well. Oh, well. Being so rude doesn 't have justification).

Un negocio familiar que con éxito te hace sentir en casa . El servicio es excepcionalmente atento. El precio del Menú del Día es razonable y cada plato está recién cocinado. Recomiendo mucho el Churrasco. Los viernes, esto incluso se ofrece como almuerzo diario. El chimichurri casero es probablemente el mejor que he probado en mi vida. I went back and I wasn 't disappointed. My starter were zamburiñas. They came with a pesto, just the right amount to display that it is about the mussle. To me, this dish deserves a Michelin Star. Main course was Solomillo de Ternera. No doubt, the chef picked the best quality of meat, available. I was not happy with the presentation of the main course. I would had appreciated some greens on the side and definitely pepper, salt and olive oil to accompany. But this doesn 't change the fact that I 've had the best meal in a long time. I 'm not a big fan of desert. So, my review should not be taken into account. I can say that the flan was homemade and fresh. I look forward to my next visit at this restaurant!

Many people and only one waitress. She was running all the time but still unable to serve everybody. We order grilled meat and it was pretty bad. Expensive for the quality and service.

Excellent quality price. The grilled meat was very tasty, we have ordered a 500 gr chop for 18 euros. The octopus and the scallops were also very tasty. There were a lot of people and the waiters have been friendly and fast moving at all times. Recommended 100%.

Very familiar place and excellent food! very recommendable. my children have put boots !!!
