Waterfront Bistro At Mulranny Park

We decided to try the club sandwich from the menu, and I have to say, I was impressed. It was hearty, beautifully presented, and incredibly tasty. My only issue with the club sandwich is the price; it costs 14 euros, and a side dish is an additional 4 euros, which feels a bit steep. While the main dish is somewhat pricey, the extra charge for a salad doesn't seem reasonable. My side salad ended up costing the same as either soup or fries, which isn’t really justifiable. That said, the fries were delightful. On a lovely day, sitting outside is an absolute must. The view is simply spectacular. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for drinks and a meal. The location is fantastic, and we've always enjoyed visiting this place for years. We've celebrated family weddings and other events at the hotel, and we've loved it until now. However, the food in the bar leaves much to be desired. The quality is poor, the taste is lacking, and the prices are far too high. One dish was advertised as being served with a salad, but it arrived with just a few wilted pieces of lettuce. When my friend requested more salad, it was actually quite good, but they charged us extra for it. That's poor service, especially since the menu indicated that a salad was included. It's truly disappointing, considering the location and the hotel's rich history. The food in the bar really needs significant improvement. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We can’t thank Marianne and Carolina enough for making our stay so wonderful. Our room was brilliant, spacious and with a beautiful view of the bay. We had great weAther which meant lovely long walks in the autumn sunshine. Feel thoroughly spoiled. Highly recommend this hotel, we had our wedding here in May and Asta the wedding coordinator is excellent and very professional and nothing was ever too much trouble. All the staff in the hotel are wonderful and very welcoming. The food service was 5 star.. I will be returning for our anniversaries Thank you all again x Elaine Christopher Holmes
