The campfire cookie, baked in cast iron, melts in your mouth like a delicious dream. The bison is so flavorful, it feels almost legendary. I can confidently give this place a solid 5 stars!
I discovered this restaurant through Yelp. It was neither outstanding nor terrible—just average. The atmosphere was nice and the place appeared clean. We ordered the fish and chips, which were disappointing, especially considering the price. The batter lacked flavor and was quite thick. The fried chicken sandwich was decent but quite ordinary. Unfortunately, I wouldn't choose to come back, as there was nothing remarkable about the experience. Also, they charge extra for French fries, which felt unnecessary since the burger only came with taro chips.
I absolutely adore Ollie's! Everything I've tried there has been fresh, healthy, and satisfying. I've sampled a variety of dishes, but three in particular have made a lasting impression on me: 1. the beet and arugula salad with goat cheese and a light, healthy dressing—it's incredibly flavorful, and I couldn't get enough of it! 2. the lemon rosemary artichoke was simply divine, tasting as if it had just been grilled to perfection! 3. the blackened salmon served on a bed of roasted corn was also extraordinary! I will definitely return and likely try every item on the menu!
My second time here, both work lunches, and it's safe to say I'm a fan. Both occasions we were here it was relatively slow. I can imagine Ollie's being a popular after work hangout as there are plenty of gastropub bar selections to please almost anyone. During my visits I've enjoyed the build-your-own burger option with the very tasty fries. It's a great feature with many options to customize your meal however, adds up quickly! My friend was surprised how much he liked the duck dip (as well as the portion size). It was a savory dish but he indicated it was worth every tasty drop. Definitely pay the extra for the fries as it's worth the 2 upgrade. Service has been good on both occasions and quite attentive. It seems to get a little chilly on overcast days especially with the unique outdoor seating on the perimeter. Parking can be a challenge at times in this particular shopping center but overall Ollie's is worth it.
Might be because we came right when they were open, but we had great service from three separate workers. We loved the hostess! I was extremely disappointed they didn't have the duck dive burger so I settled for a breakfast burrito. This is why I gave 4 stars. My breakfast burrito was hefty and the sauce added a nice tang that was much needed because the egg, rice, and beans in the burrito wrap was very carby. The eggs were fluffy and had good bite. It was incredibly filling. The salad was lightly acidic and full of the fronds that were harder to fit in an average mouth, but it was nice! We came on the 4th of July and appreciated that the playlist matched the theme of the day haha. The space and facilities are nice. I wish there was a hook in the bathroom!
