The Sunny Sailor - Maldon

We were visiting friends but arrived in the area a bit too early, we therefore found this pub on the river and as it was a sunny Sunday afternoon, thought we would give a try. We ordered jumbo sausage and chips and ham egg chips. The food was good, had to wait a bit longer than the 15 minutes that we were told, but well worth the wait. It was nice to have good food at a reasonable price. Of course the views across the river was nice too. Very enjoyable and will be visiting here again.

Lovely place by the river for a drink and food!! Staff are amazing and such a great at atmosphere. Overall I would highly recommend

Warm Saturday lunchtime, but pub not too busy, a bowl of cheesy chips took 45 minutes+ to arrive. And the landlord ? was quite rude to a fellow diner simply asking how to order food. We won't bother again.

I had a wonderful experience at the Sunny Sailor. The entire staff, including the owner, were exceptional. Jackie, in particular, was a delightful woman. I would definitely return again!

First class , we had chicken strips and a tuna jacket , Tyler who waited on us couldn’t have done any better, very polite and attentive he made sure my wifes dietary requirements were looked after . This place also serves Aspalls Cider great staff and good food and drink all by the river location .
