Cheesecake was actually awesome. Had the salted caramel cheesecake and it was soooo good! However, service was unspeakable. The cashier was prolly having a bad day. Also, can’t get wifi unless you buy pesos worth if whatever they sell. Hmmm, so it’s like being forced to purchase beyond coffee and or cake.
Study night again. Loved this place for studying: good coffee, quiet place, airconditioned, strong internet connection. As for the coffee, i usually ordered iced drinks (white choco mocha) -'pwede na' by my standards. Haven't tried their food -doesn't look appetizing either.
After eating in a korean restaurant, we craved for something sweet. As we pass by the Pan Pacific Hotel we saw gloria jeans and rushed to see if they have what we're looking for. Their Cakes and muffins are really good. Not too sweet... Best served with brewed coffee.
I'm not going to lie, for a five star hotel the Pan Pacific has the worst coffee. I go downstairs to Gloria Jean's instead. Sure, it's not exactly cheap, but the caramel latte is delicious, the macadamia frozen drink is insanely delicious, and the espresso/cappuccino/cafe latte's are tasty as well. I see one person mentioned ordering a Cafe Americans and it sucked. Why would you do that at a place like this. It's espresso in a coffee cup filled up with water... Of course it's going to suck. Order the coffee of the day which is just beefed coffee. Anyway, I have tried the muffins and I'm not a fan. They are cold and dry. Maybe if they warmed them in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds they would be okay but they don't. Also, the cookies taste stale to me. I have not tried the sandwiches though and they look good.
