フィードバックを提供するI'm a tourist from two states. My mother grew up in a family of Nyonya. She likes it, especially the Assam fish and Sambal Petai Prawn. Sunday at 11.45. The place was just a little crowded. Book during lunchtime.
Of the five nyonya restaurants we tried, this was one of the two best. The fish dish was good, though the texture of stingray might be a bit of an acquired taste; I liked it, but if you want to play it safe perhaps get the snapper instead. The minced pork in a wrapper and fried was our favourite, great little snack. The veggies were nicely spiced; we asked for a less oily version than normal, and they were happy to oblige. The chicken curry was fine, but not particularly memorable. Would definitely go here again to try more dishes.
The overall experience at this restaurant was great. The waitress Gave us such great service. We ordered a lot of food to try different options, and everything was brought out piping hot. The fish with pineapple is absolutely amazing. I don’t recommend the noodles too much. The shrimp with stink beans were also interesting! Don’t be afraid to try the local nut that they inform you of in their menu.
Delicious nyonya food with reasonable price. 4 main dish (fish, prawn, squid and kangkong) 1 side dish and 2 drinks for 3 pax cost RM134. Restaurant clean, good service and food were served fast.
Was happy to see that they had a proper vegetarian menu, which is somewhat a struggle for vegetarians at most restaurants. And the food tasted great! Especially enjoyed the vegetarian Asam fish. The four angle bean and sambal chicken were good too....Recommended!
