This restaurant serve very delicious nyonya cuisines. The environment is very cozy and nice. Highly recommended.
The sambal bendi (ladies finger) is fantastic and qualifies for die die must eat . For those who likes to cook, do buy their sauce back, and just add scallions. The sambal is unrivaled. The stir-fry potato-leaves (daun keledek) is another die die must eat . We have not tried such nice stir-fry potato-leaves coated with heavenly sambal. Sauce is available to purchase too. The chendol, at Aunty Lee, they allows you to add gula melaka on your own as the gula melaka is served separately. The chendol is above average nyonya chendol, but the fact that you can add your own gula melaka, is a plus point. The chicken rendang is ok. As for their lamb curry, the meat is tender but nothing to shout about. Aunty Lee is not cooking anymore, as it 's been taken over by a chef that is following Aunty Lee 's secret recipes. Does this restaurant warrant the effort to make your way to savour their dishes, YES!
Very Authentic Nyoya cusine. Ayam Buah Keluak was good, so as the Curry Mutton and the Acar. For the Beancurd, still prefer it too cook in lighter taste than using bean paste. The taste doesn't so match with other dishes. Guess need to take it in consideration next time when I order food. Love the cendol, goes so well with gula Melaka! The restaurant a bit packed, and the foods took a while to serve. Staff very friendly. Limited parking space, have to park on the road side beside the restaurant.
Food was good we ordered pie tee, ayam buah keluak, ayam pongteh, tauhu udang taucheo, kuah lada, chap chai and cendol. Waiting time was kind of long though, drinks and starters took about 45 mins to come, n we waited about 90 mins for the rest of our food.
