El Chapos - Maitland

I and my husband have just married. After several cancelled dates (thanks to Kovid) and a place that was pulled out, we then stumbled over El Chapos! The dining area above is an intimate and unique space with so much potential and character. James and Kristy were more than accommodating when it comes to questions and questions, and I would highly recommend this place if I were looking for a room for your next event. Not to mention the dishes and cocktails

This place is a must try for visitors and locals alike. Staff are super friendly. Experiance for your taste buds as well as you eyes. Food was fresh and full of flavour, and something to see anywhere you look. Well priced, open for lunch and dinner. Practiced covid safe guidelines the whole time. Function centre upstairs looks great. A lot of mood lighting.

What a spot! We stumbled upon this little place by accident and am very thankful we did. It without a doubt was the best tacos, nachos, burrito and sangria I have found anywhere in Australia. The chef knows what they’re doing and the restaurant atmosphere is beautiful. A hidden gem.

What amazing food, generous sized servings, so fresh, tasty absolutely loved it. Staff were super friendly too. We will return!

Fantastic experience. Haven’t been here before. There were 4 of us. The food was great. Faultless!! The staff Fantastic!! Thanks in particular to the young chap who waited on us most of the night. He was awesome and just really accommodating.
