Azul Eatery - Mairangi Bay

Great atmosphere at Azul Eatery Water views, comfortable seating, easy listening music. Three of us ordered from the shared dishes and they were all excellent. Chicken was a hit and the Octopus so very tender. Great to know that GF or vegetarian options are available too. Friendly service by lovely people.

Great service and food. Excellent service. Perfect beach side stopover. A beer and pizza ends the perfect weekend at Azul.

The best thing about this place is its location, right on the beach. Nothing else was good on the Sunday morning we visited for breakfast. One wait staff on, so very slow service and attitude was corresponding terse. Tepid coffee (though it was remade when we asked). 2 breakfasts took nearly 40 minutes to arrive. Cold plates so cooling food, rosti like cardboard, omlette overcooked, no cutlery on the table....a real pity because the menu is interesting. Definitely won't be going back.

I'm a seafood lover and been looking for a nice seafood restaurant after the lockdown. I've really enjoyed the tuna dish, even my mum who doesn't like seafood loved it! Paella was delicious too. Lovely atmosphere, beautiful beach view, friendly staff and delicous food! Would definitely recommend Azul!!! :

We enjoyed the starters and mains, good and relaxing atmosphere with a beachfront view. They got a really wide big screen tv where you could just sit and watch a sport or anything. Nice seating designs but found one of the seats was broken. 3 stars because the fried chicken was dry and didn’t meet my expectation. Also the first waitress who took our orders seemed impatient and annoyed because we told her we’re not ready to order yet when she approached our table
