フィードバックを提供するThe suckling pig is very good. The service is extremely friendly and professional while still being affable. I hadn't been here for over ten years. I won't take so long to come next time. A less favorable point is the lack of an ATM.
I've known this restaurant for more than 30 years, over the years and with the emergence of others closer to my location, I confess that it's been about 10 years since I had lunch at Pinheiral dos Leies today, 6/08/23, I was scandalized by the state of the restaurant. restaurant when a few years ago at noon there was almost no table and there were 10 or 12 employees today there were 12 people having lunch with 1 employee completely out of touch with reality, terrible service, very poor food, horrible atmosphere, the dessert was saved, which was even fruit the coffee I ordered short came to overflowing, when today I intended to satisfy my longing for a place that was a reference for serving suckling pig in the north, I was completely astonished by the management's attitude that let everything arrive to the point where the customer just wants to pay and leave quickly, ,,,please, your main dish is suckling pig, please don't reheat it as anyone who likes suckling pig will soon see it as a trick. IT'S A SHAME THAT THEY HAVE ARRIVED IN THIS DISCALABRATION
Last night in Portugal and we got to have the famous Leitao to complete our list of must have . We are quickly glancing through the web looking for the best suckling place in Porto. And here comes Pinheiral dos Leitoes (with a little adventure on how to get to this marvelous place . It was a Sunday evening around 7 already in late November dark and quiet. We get on the metro line and after many stations we get off at Lidador totally middle of no where to a foreign couples. We started questioning the google map navigation. After almost 15 mins of taking a leap of faith and blinding dash though the streets (with the help of a nice couples in the neighborhood, and viola! The little pig logo on the van parking in front of the place and we know here it is. We are the only customer may be because it 's a Sunday evening. We 're quickly greeted by the most friendliest waiter in the world and start ordering despite there 's some language barrier (praise to the review photos on the web And here comes the pig most tender pieces I ever have (4 big one in fact are sizzling on my dish with the tasty sides. The skin is grilled to perfection with the savor crunchiness, yet the meat is so juicy and it cries me a river of jus (cry of joy! . Food for sure left me speechless a must go if you are really craving for suckling pig in Porto. Totally worth the metro ride which is actually only 30 ish minutes from Trindade. Yet the best dinning experience is the lovely mid aged gentleman who served us with all of his attention, warmth and smile. He even showed me to the kitchen where they baked their own bread, sausage and obviously, the pigs. The oven 's still warm and lots of pictures were taken for sure. He was so nice to show our way back to the metro station. We had to give him the biggest hugs before we 're heading back to Porto downtown. To me, this is exactly what you like to have for a memorable dinning experience great food, great service. Not to mention the price and portion is unparalleled. I will give 10 starts out of 5 seriously.
Great service! Great food! Very large restaurant with a great staff. Off the beaten path. Leitoe (suckling pig) was great. Sauce is what made it!
