Sunset Boulevard - Mahopac

I gave this restaurant a one-star review, but only because our waitress was fantastic. She was incredibly friendly and great with the kids. We visited on a weekday night when it wasn't very busy, yet we waited an exceptionally long time for our food after placing our order. We ordered simple items like burgers, salads, wraps, and fish and chips. After nearly an hour, three of our meals arrived completely wrong. This was entirely the kitchen's fault, not the waitress's, as she had taken everything down correctly. The main reason we won't return is that the kitchen can't keep up with orders but shifts the blame onto the waitresses. These women are doing their best and shouldn't be held accountable for mistakes they didn't make.

Order the burger.. said to the waiter will they make it medium rare just a double check he said yes it came back well done and dry they gave me another one and that was well done I ate it anyway they didn't charge me for it but I'm not sure why I can't come out medium rare service was so-so not very

Fantastic food, incredibly laid-back vibe, and AMAZING service. I highly recommend this place—it's not extravagant, but there's something for everyone. The staff is wonderful; Sophia was our waitress again this month (I've been here twice in six weeks) and she is attentive and very helpful.
