La Tapería Mayor - Madrid

We were walking from the Royal Palace back to Plaza Mayor and looking for a place to eat. On a whim we stopped in Taperia Mayor and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, with a very attentive and friendly waiter. The food was delicious. The white bean and clam soup was full of flavor, and I'm still craving the fried eggs, jamon and blistered padron peppers over fries. With this I enjoyed the sangria and their bread. For a quick, tasty, inexpensive lunch, this is a great spot.

Friendly and attentive staff, delicious menu of the day, including beverage and dessert. Would definitely eat there again.

Really dirty place with awful customer service. Way too expensive for what they offer. Truly advice against going there.

Me detuve a ver fútbol, pero al final tuve la cena, la hamburguesa de la casa es muy buena y la corteza de cerdo con la bebida de lo mejor de Madrid. el servicio muy atento y rápido.
