Cross over and rallying point between Chueca and vibrant Las Salesas District, true Neighborhood bar spirit; away from main street traps. No fancy, neither snooty nor hype location. Warm, and uncomplicated, (Thu, Fri, and Sa better after 23:00). Best Spanish on the House Tapashabit and custom spot in the area. An A for the host; Emilio, in friendliness, and a further one for his unaffected, direct treatment. Lunchtime menus 'menús del dia ' from around 11 12 Euro. Visa, Master Card. Mo Sa 9 am 2:30 pm.

When in chueca it is a must see. The bartender is so nice and friendly. The bar gives you the full Spanish experience with music, tapas and muy buena gente. I would recommend 100%.

Lo pasé genial en el bar de Emilio. Fue una expericencia auténtica de espańa en un barrio divertido. Lo recomendaría a alguien. I had a great time at Emilios bar. We had free tapas, spent time with him after closing and he made Madrid feel home. I loved spending nights drinking here and would recommend this bar to anyone looking for an authentic Spanish experiencie

Beers are well-drawn. usually give a generous lid for every consumption
