Rare On The Square - Madison

The kitchen really made this place worthwhile for me. I ordered an Old Fashioned and a Sidecar. Unfortunately, the Old Fashioned was shaken, which isn't how it should be prepared. The first Sidecar I received wasn't right either, and I had to send it back. The second one was an improvement, but it was still quite strong. The Old Fashioned itself was fairly bland and weak. On a positive note, the jumbo pretzel was outstanding, and the flatbread was delicious. I noticed that the bartender who made our drinks had only been there for just over a week, so it might be a good idea to reevaluate the training procedures.

The food at Circ is better compared to many nearby options. The staff is friendly and very accommodating.

Delicious food, excellent staff, and an outstanding manager! This is a fantastic spot to grab a bite if you're in the area.

It's the 4th of July and we are enjoying a few drinks in The Bar inside The Madison Concourse Hotel. I think the bartenders name is Atticus. He was busy and he did a great job!
