Col's Place - Madison Heights

The staff here is polite and attentive, and every dish we've ordered has exceeded our expectations. Our favorite has to be the French onion soup! We now make it a point to stop by weekly. Parking is convenient and nearby, and it's a family-friendly place with a kids' menu available.

When I arrived at the restaurant to return the food, the doors were locked, but a kind gentleman let me in and tried to process the refund. Unfortunately, he seemed unsure of how to handle it and asked a coworker for assistance. This is when I encountered the young woman, who turned out to be the daughter of the person who had yelled at me earlier. Both she and her mother verbally harassed me, and I was ultimately chased out of the building and physically confronted by the daughter. It’s one thing to receive undercooked food, but to be subjected to such unprofessional treatment and abuse as a customer is unacceptable. I called the restaurant in a friendly manner, hoping to resolve the issue, and previously, I had enjoyed dining there with my family for breakfast without any problems. However, the takeout service has been unreliable, and I hadn’t addressed it until now. Will I return? Absolutely not. I wish them the best, but I cannot recommend this establishment based on my experience.

Had food delivered to a friends house that just moved in I specifically stated please include plastic ware and napkins and syrup for my pancakes and jelly for my toast we didn’t even get a single napkin and ate scrambled eggs scooped up by dry toast. Whoever is packing y’all bags read! Paid too much to not enjoy my food!

Five star times two… HeyMy sister I were there for our first time yesterday, I had eggs, Benedict and she had a chicken Gyro. We both had a **** Mary!It took me a few months to get there because of my schedule, but can’t wait to frequent it again, everything about it was amazing

Best fries ever. Love the service and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
