Oec Japanese Express - Madison

I will not be dining at this restaurant again. The food was old, especially the rice which was so sticky it got stuck in my teeth. The person who answered the phone, supposedly the owner, was rude and unhelpful. Even a hungry animal wouldn't eat the food here. I doubt I will get a refund. I am just passing through, but I advise any truck drivers thinking about eating here to reconsider. The staff doesn't care about the quality of the food they serve, they just want your money.

The food was mediocre and too salty. The "salad" consisted only of carrots. To top it off, the staff was extremely rude.

I will never order from this restaurant again! The rice I received was tough and lacked flavor. Additionally, the steamed broccoli I ordered was not cooked properly. It seemed as though they had simply seasoned fresh broccoli without steaming it. When I called to complain, the only response I received from the woman was that she was sorry and that she cooks everyone's rice the same way. She did not seem interested in hearing my explanation that the food was not prepared correctly.

No soy sauce or silverware in my take out bag. Very few pieces of chicken. Rice was over cooked. Small portions. Over priced.

Was a short wait on my order while until it was ready. Good service and great food.
