Konkani - Madgaon

We visited this place for lunch as we were bored of eating at the beach shacks in Beneaulim and wanted to eat a proper thali. After some searching on the web, we zeroed in on this place. We were lucky to find parking for our 4 wheeler about 500 meters away and the rest we walked. We ordered fish thali, veg thali and squid masala. The food was excellent and the portions large - on hindsight the squid was not required. The quality of the food was very good and it was very tasty. We paid Rs 130 each for thali which is a steal. The place is frequented by local office goers and very few tourists. PLEASE NOTE THIS PLACE HAS NO AMBIENCE. This is a small and regular food place where you can get non veg cuisine. Food was okay but ambiance is below average and needs to improve.

This place has really gone down with time.The fish thali here used to be one of the best in Margao but the last few times i visited i found the quality of the food to have gone down and the hygiene was an issue too....More

A small little place... No one thought that it would have such tasty food! Had fish thali there and was it good!!! Everything is so fresh... Very courteous and helpful staff

The best Fish , Tasty Fish Curries are served by Konkani.The quantity of King Fish ( Big Pieces) is more than enough for 2 persons.Fish Thali is served at reasonable rate.
