Tang Palace Chinese Restaurant

We have ordered from Tang Palace 3 times now and the food has been fresh and tasty. We have ordered via MenuLog and had it delivered. The delivery driver is so friendly! I can recommend the Satay beef, yum! My kids always order the Lemon Chicken and love it.

This is our regular Chinese Restaurant we are always very happy with the delicous meals and service.

This is a Chinese restaurant that I would recommend to friends and family. Good service and excellent food. Good atmosphere. Portions were more than adequate and reckoned that it was good value for the money spent. I have returned since and would in no way alter my opinion.

Not having been here for 6 years we decided to have a early dinner at the Tang palace. Apparently new owners since our last visit. Venue is quite large and lacks atmosphere. Only one other table occupied, should have told us something but we sat and opened a bottle of wine. No water offered but a nice young lady took our order for veg spring rolls, crispy chicken in plum sauce and sizzling peppercorn beef plus special fried rice.Other diners had left by this time and we were the only ones dining on a Wednesday evening.Courses arrived quite quickly. Would suggest the crispy chicken was actually lemon chicken (battered) with plum sauce. Beef dish had good vegetables but the beef was quite chewy. Not overjoyed at the 2% surcharge for Visa payment but a few small restaraunts do impose this rather annoying charge.Not one other table occupied after we left!Unfortunately we all suffered later that evening and the following with constant toilet visits! Certainly not a venue we would ever consider revisiting.

We visited here on a quiet week night so we could enjoy a relaxing meal. I chose just a main which was Combination Seafood with Homemade XO Sauce plus steamed rice. This was a very tasty meal consisting of prawns, scallops, squid, fish and vegetables in a delicate seafood sauce which complemented the meal well. My companion chose an entree of Salt & Pepper Squid and was amazed at the large serving – at least twice the size of a similar starter elsewhere, followed by Singapore Noodles and Sweet & Sour Pork. He was very happy with each selection. The servings are generous, the prices very reasonable and the restaurant itself is pleasant with linen tablecloths and well spaced tables. Situated on Albany Highway it has most of the parking at the back of the restaurant.
