Definitely the best food out of the few places we ate in the area during our hunting. Also hands down the best service. Even though my husband forgot to tip the bartender that was playing waiter for the night. He did a great job!! Hopefully I can make it up to him the next time we are in the area

Driving through town and stopped for lunch. A great place to grab a beer and a quick meal after a hike.

The restaurant is rarely open and needs someone capable of managing it properly to keep it running consistently.

Upon entering the restaurant, the first thing that stands out is its impressive cleanliness! The restroom was immaculate, the seating areas were promptly cleared and wiped down, and the server was attentive without being intrusive. I ordered a simple soup and salad. The soup was a bit on the small side and slightly too salty, but still quite decent. However, the salad was abundant and fresh, with just the right amount of dressing. It would have earned five stars if the soup had been less salty and if my onions had been added. Overall, it was a wholesome and satisfying experience! I will definitely return the next time I'm in Mackay!
