Sophienholm Cafeteria - Lyngby-Taarbaek

Surprisingly good café. Nice place to sit outdoor and watch Bagværd Sø. Really good open sandwiches on fine rye bread, with some nice twists (but still classic Danish Smørrebrød). Good beer. Selfservice.

This is a small cafe in the basement of the Sofienholm exhibition center. There is a good selection of foods for purchase. The prices are fairly high for Denmark

A thoroughly mediocre, bordering on indifferent experience. In return, it was expensive. The food was uninteresting, over salted and almost not prepared. There were enough staff, and those who were there didn't really know who was doing what or when. The last bright spot was their remoulade.

The food was more exciting a few years ago...

Fantastic place, very beautiful location, a cozy cafe with delicious food and wonderful cakes, the service is top notch.
